The last arithmetical problem in examination

I've added,
substracted,
divided,
and multiplied
again and again...

I kept the numbers outside
and took them back
I borrowed them from outside,
and gave them back

I jumped hurdles
one after the other
and when the final bell rang
in the midst of last division
only one question remained
